Brooklyn Event Transportation Guide
Separate a Brooklyn event’s arrival plan from its exit plan. The guest entrance, group size and finish time determine whether to book direct transfers or retain a vehicle.

Arrival and exit are separate bookings
A Brooklyn event needs the guest door and a plan for leaving.

Obtain the venue instructions
Ask the organizer for the guest entrance and current vehicle access guidance. A waterfront venue, Barclays Center and a private restaurant have different arrival arrangements. Share the actual address rather than a venue nickname or map screenshot alone.
Set the arrival sequence
List hotel pickups in order and allow time for people to board, collect belongings and walk into the venue. If guests arrive by air that day, keep those transfers separate from the event pickup until the flight timing is known.
Decide how the group leaves
Choose a permitted meeting point, a return window and one reachable passenger. The drop-off entrance may be unsuitable after a crowded event. If guests leave for several hotels, agree on the route and vehicle assignments before the evening.
Handle a late finish
Tell the booking contact when the event runs over and ask how waiting or rescheduling affects the price. A booked drop-off does not include keeping the car outside. An hourly arrangement may suit a flexible evening, subject to its confirmed duration and terms.
Barclays, a waterfront room, or a house party
Barclays Center, a pier venue and a brownstone celebration do not share a curb. For Barclays, use the entrance on the ticket and choose the return corner before tip-off or doors. For a waterfront site, ask the host which driveway arriving cars may use. For a house, name the cross street and a person who can come outside.
If some guests are coming from JFK with luggage and others are coming from Manhattan in evening clothes, those are different vehicles unless you have checked the combined bags and the timing. One coordinator should be reachable when the room is loud.

Should the getaway car be the same vehicle as the guest shuttle?
Only if it is free at that minute and you have booked it that way. A guest drop-off that is still unloading cannot also be the couple’s exit.
What if the venue moves the door the day before?
Send the new entrance to the booking contact before the first pickup. The old invitation address should not be left as the only instruction.
