For a Long Island City hotel or office, include the entrance and nearest cross street; a waterfront destination name may cover several buildings. In Astoria, confirm whether the pickup is at a residence, restaurant or venue and give a passenger phone number for access changes.

A Flushing meeting or family pickup needs its own address-based timing plan. Do not use a JFK airport transfer as a substitute for a nearby residential pickup. For multiple households joining one trip, list the pickup sequence and the luggage added at each stop.

A pickup at JFK or LaGuardia follows airport meeting rules. A pickup at a Queens hotel uses the hotel’s street entrance. Make that distinction explicit in the reservation, and confirm the airport terminal only when the passenger is actually arriving by air.

A home in Queens and a terminal at JFK or LaGuardia are different meetings. If you live in Flushing, Jamaica or another neighborhood and need a ride to the airport, the reservation starts at your door with the bags and the airline’s timing. It does not start at the terminal’s car-service curb.

The reverse is also true. An arriving passenger who is going to a Queens residence needs that street address, not “near the airport.” Long Island City hotels that face the river still need the porte-cochère or door the property uses for cars. If the next stop is Manhattan, say so; the first hotel is not the destination unless the car is released there.
