Madison Square Garden and Midtown Event Transportation Guide
An MSG or Midtown event reservation should identify the ticket entrance and a separate return meeting point. Crowds and street access can make pickup different from drop-off.

Getting to MSG and getting out
Drop-off and pickup are different problems once the crowd is outside.

Before the event
Use the entrance information from the ticket or organizer. Add time for walking, security and finding the seat after leaving the car. If the passenger is arriving by train, state the station exit or hotel pickup rather than using the arena name for both ends of the trip.
Luggage and hotel stops
Arrange luggage storage with the hotel or another confirmed provider; a venue may have its own restrictions. If bags must be collected after the event, include that stop in the return itinerary. Do not assume the car remains available to store belongings after a one-way transfer.
Meeting after the event
Choose a reachable passenger and a permitted meeting location in advance. Keep the instructions available on the phone before entering. Notify the booking contact when the group is assembled and ready to walk to the meeting point; avoid calling the car forward while guests are still leaving their seats.
A changing finish time
Concerts, games and other events may run beyond an estimate. Ask the quote to explain waiting, rescheduling and extra time. For a group, confirm whether everyone shares one return destination or needs separate booked movements.
Penn Station, Moynihan, and the arena doors
MSG sits on top of a station with more than one street exit. If someone is also arriving by train, name Moynihan or the other exit they will use, then a corner the car can legally use. Do not send the vehicle into the station.
A dinner in Midtown after the event is another stop with its own door. If the group splits between a car and the subway, count only the people boarding the car. Hourly service is appropriate when you want the vehicle nearby despite an uncertain final buzzer or encore. A one-way drop-off ends when you get out.

Do not assume a curb will be available at the end. Ask when you book. If the answer is a nearby meeting point, save it before you enter.
We have a hotel on Seventh Avenue. Is that the pickup?
Only if you are leaving from that hotel door. The arena entrance and the hotel entrance are different stops.
