Leaving a Manhattan hotel or residence
Confirm where passengers and bags will be ready, and list any additional pickup in its intended order. Loading beach gear, larger cases or children’s equipment can take longer than a simple city transfer. Share the inventory before choosing a vehicle.
Which Hamptons destination
Give the full address and town, such as Southampton, Bridgehampton or East Hampton, rather than using “Hamptons” alone. A venue’s guest entrance may differ from its mailing address. Weekend congestion and local access can affect the journey; a map estimate is not a guaranteed arrival time.
Returning to Manhattan
Book the return date, address and time explicitly. An outbound transfer does not keep the chauffeur with the party through the weekend. If the same-day itinerary includes stops, an event and a return, request a quote for that complete schedule and ask how additional waiting is billed.
What Manhattan luggage does to the class
Two people leaving a Midtown hotel with four large cases are not the same request as two people with overnight bags. The SUV class lists up to six passengers, and luggage still has to be confirmed. A sedan lists three passengers and is the wrong guess when the trunk is the real constraint.
If the house is in a specific village and the host has given a gate or a caretaker’s number, include that. The car cannot invent access. A photo stop on the way is an extra stop and should be decided before the quote, not discovered on the highway.
